OKAY
i'm so happy. i have a little tale.
this weekend i went to belleville for their waterfront and ethnic festival they have every summer. it was a pretty damn good time, i must say. did the usual in killah fashion and all was grand! (except for a small 'punch-up' on friday night that doesnt deserve any recognition)
but the best part was when i got home on sunday. i had brought up the idea a few weeks ago that i wanted another cat. it's been a while since Charlie died (see earlier posts) and i just realized that having a cat would make me happier than i was. so anyway, my parents ended up going to the humane society while i was away and they had a cat all picked out and ready to come home. (they couldn't bring her that day just because they got their late and the shelter was about to close.)
so then on monday my dad and i went and picked her up and it was also the first time i got to see her. let me say, what a sweety. she's a black and grey tabby, 9 weeks old and her name is.....well, one we didnt pick. the name she was given before she came to the humane society was Inky. yeah, Inky. i really really hated it at first and i wanted to change it, but of course my whole family ate it up, so Inky it is. i tried calling her other things, but she already responds to Inky so i guess i'm gonna have to get used to it.
so yea, i have a new kitten! and i'm happy about that.
oh and just in case anyone was wondering, she was found in a shed in bradford. but now she can be found frequenting my lap, the couch, behind the couch, and various other comfy spots at my house.......... pictures to come soon! |

life is getting busy but good. i'm good i think, which is something you dont hear me say too often. but yea, everything is moving and changing but i know that it's for the best so i'm all for it.
my internship finally got worked out. i'm going to Z103.5 in toronto, starting May 4th. i'm goign to be the morning show assistant, or rather ONE of them.....in case you haven't heard, they teamed me up with the one, the only Ja Bill! if that name means anything to you, you're rolling around on the ground laughing, with tears streaming from your eyes and urine is soaking your pants. what a fucking coincidence eh?
to be honest though, i'm so excited. the way i look at it, he's a good opportunity to get famous, hands down. it's not like he'll gain NOTHING from it........is it?
i dont know.....i know nothing. PEACE

UHHHHHH
i'm a tit. i got back from P.E.I./Nova Scotia on saturday night at like 10. got home around 12. i had a pretty good time considering i didnt wanna go in the first place.
we flew to halifax and spent a few days there which was a pleasant surprise. the best part was going to the Alexander Keith's Brewery! it was all decked out like the 1800's when it was built, in fact it's the original building. but yea, you get to sing crazy Scottish folk songs and you get free beer at the end! plus i got a rad t-shirt. oh yea.
we also stayed at my mom's friend's place for a night. she has a cat that's so kool. its like a persian but it's fur and markings look like that of an orange tabbie. his name was Natty and he had runny eyes, so he was very wicked. i have a bunch of pictures from there so i might get to post them.
p.e.i. itself was pretty boring. i got to drink one night so that was at least some kind of relief. oh and one day we went to the Ripley's museum. i was like, why the hell do they have a Ripley's in P.E.I.?? it's not even in Charlottetown either. *shrugs*
when we were staying at this motel, there was this cat that like lived there and it liked me. hehehe. but one night there was this storm and i saw her outside so i called her to our room and we kept her inside while it rained. she seemed really happy to have friends. we tried to give her some water but she just rubbed her face on the cup and it spiled on the floor. silly kitty kat!
to anyone that might be interested: i'm going to Port Perry again this thursday to see "Joe Bot and the Sexual Predacons" play. again. if can/want to come you should! hehehehheheheheheh. ok. |

shit.
Last thursday was so BOMB. after i worked, my mom drove me to Port Perry to the bar where "Joe Bot" was playing. so yea i get there and the first person i see is Davies who was really happy to see me. i quickly realized that like all my friends were there. so i sat with Meade for a while and then i talked to Grace which i was looking forward to and was really wicked. oh and the music! let's not forget the music.
Joe Bot and the Sexual Predacons were just wicked. they've been together for like 3 weeks and they can play 40 cover songs together. i think thats pretty impressive. yea but near the end of the night (once everyone was nice and boozed) there were a couple of guest vocalists...myself included. i sang a duet with Joe, a Nirvana song, which i embarassingly say i cannot remember which one it was. thank the liquids for that... and i also did a screaming karoake version of "Girls" by the Beastie Boys. LOL. yeeee. GREAT FUN.
getting really drunk is fun. so is seeing a band play. so is pissing on kfc's front doors. |

so i'm 19 now.....i guess. *shrugs* i dont feel any different. i have to agree with misszombiejesus about the year change thing: when the year changes, thats when your age should change.
as far as les gifts go... i got a pair of boxers from my mum, a new wallet (which i need!) from my bro, and my parents got me a new 20" tv for my apartment in september! its gonna be kool cuz we can put it in our living room and i can put my little blue tv from the 70's in my room. oh and me and goldman went to this pub called The Lion, and he got me a beer! heheheheh
yea and then this saturday me and lindsay and whoever else wants to come, are going to the niteclub formerly known as Whiskey Saigon, but its now called Joe, for some stupid reason. that should be buckets of inebriated fun. *donce donce* |

i was just thinking about working at this law firm and a few things i like about it.
1. i've met some kool ass people, that have BRAINS!
2. i LOVE being downtown, just in general, even if it IS in money town.
3. this is my favourite part: on the walls of every floor, they have all this really awesome artwork. i have no idea if it's from world famous artists or anything, but some of it i just want. like today i saw this really really sweet painting that had like all these crushed up cars just from top to bottom, and all sorts of shadowing and colours too. it looked like a puzzle. i also like this photo of this really run down house that's just about to fall over, where someone still lives, and there's a "No Dumping" sign. i'd love to go there.
the only part that sucks is that i'm not really given a chance to stand there and examine them.....p00. |

Last night me and Lindsay went to AFI at the Kool Haus. We (rather, I) got lost on the way there but oh well, it was still fun. The show was really really sweet, so much energy (and sweat) in that building. If you ever get a chance, go and see them. The thing i really like about AFI is that they sound exactly the same live, as they do on their albums. Totally not a studio band. One of the bests parts of going was that i got to see like so many of my friends from Port Perry, that i hadn't seen since April.
Also, today i started my new day job. it's pretty alright. my moms got me this job at this law firm in downtown Toronto called McTet. it's apparently the largest in canada lol. so i work in "supplies" basically just delvering people's orders. like "hey snooty lawyer man, here's your fucking pens!" i wish. lol. i'm not complaining, it's easy money, nuff said. |
